Tottenham only needed a draw against Monaco to win their Europa League group, but they were in no mood to relax in the first half, taking a 2-0 lead before the 20-minute mark.
Erik Lamela scored the first within two minutes, and it was the Argentine who grabbed the second from outside the penalty area.
Perhaps the goalkeeper should have done better, but it was a decent piece of control by Lamela to set himself up for the left-footed strike.
