After 25 minutes of dominance, Tottenham finally opened the scoring at Colchester with a well worked team goal finished by Nacer Chadli.
If was the Belgian’s third goal in his last three appearances for Spurs. Erik Lamela played him in with an excellent outside-of-the-foot pass, and Chadli made no mistake with a good finish.
Chadli has done well to work his way back into Mauricio Pochettino’s plans after a long spell as a substitute, with other options preferred.
