Toby Alderweireld was a regular scorer of goals in his debut season for Spurs and tonight he’s found the net for Belgium.

The 27-year old put Belgium 1-0 up in their Euro 2016 match with Hungary, as he powerfully headed home from a free-kick swung into the box.

It was only Alderweireld’s second goal for his country in 58 appearances. The defender scored four times in the Premier League last season for Tottenham.

Belgium are in a great position to go all the way through to the final of the tournament, giving English Spurs fans someone to cheer on when our country inevitably loses on penalties to France in the quarter-finals. Watch Alderweireld’s goal below
