Reports from Turkey claim that Spurs have joined the race to sign the Fenerbahce midfielder Ozan Tufan.

The 21-year old Turkish international recently represented his country in Euro 2016 and scored in the 2-0 victory over the Czech Republic.

Despite his youth, Tufan has won 27 caps for his country. The 6ft tall youngster has established himself as a central midfielder, but can also play as a right-back or right-midfielder.

The Fenerbahce manager Vitor Pereira has high hopes for Tufan and has compared him to a leading Premier League midfielder.

“He still has a lot to learn and that is my job,” said Pereira after the Czech Republic win.

“But the world will soon have a central midfielder on the level of Yaya Toure.”

Judge for yourself whether Tufan can reach those heights, by watching him in action below.
