Tottenham created the majority of the chances in the first half of their Premier League clash with Leicester City at White Hart Lane, with Victor Wanyama and Dele Alli both coming close to opening the scoring.

But it took a penalty kick for the visitors to find the net when Leicester were finally punished after a series of fouls missed by the referee.

Vincent Janssen duly stepped up to score his second penalty in a week and his first Premier League goal for Spurs, ensuring his side went into the break on top.
