Poch’s Presser: Not best performance, channels Wenger

Mauricio Pochettino has given his press conference following Tottenham’s 5-0 thrashing of Swansea.

A brace apiece from Harry Kane and Christian Eriksen, along with a goal from Heung-Min Son saw Spurs get back to winning ways in some style.

Though Pochettino was clearly impressed by the performance he stopped short of naming it as the team’s best of the season. For him, the 2-0 victory over Manchester City remains in front.

Also on the agenda was the fine performance of Dele Alli and the question of whether he had dived to win the first-half penalty through which Kane opened the scoring.

On that question Pochettino took a leaf from Arsene Wenger’s book and claimed he hadn’t seen the incident. Watch the full press conference below.
