Mauricio Pochettino has given his press conference ahead of Tottenham’s match with CSKA Moscow, with a little help from Jan Vertonghen.
Vertonghen spoke first at the presser and was quizzed on his thoughts on the impending return of his compatriot Toby Alderweireld.
Alderweireld was also on the agenda for Pochettino, with the manager confirming that he will be in the squad for Wednesday and throwing serious doubt on the claims that the central defender has a release clause of £30m.
There was also plenty of discussion about the challenges of playing at Wembley, the merits of the Europa League and Erik Lamela’s return to Argentina.
