The former Tottenham midfielder Ryan Mason suffered a horrendous head injury during Hull’s match with Chelsea yesterday.
Mason fractured his scull after a clash with Gary Cahill and was rushed to hospital, where he underwent surgery. Thankfully Mason is now conscious and speaking at the hospital, where he will be monitored over the next few days.
Ryan only left White Hart Lane at the start of the season, having made his way from the academy to the first-team and unsurprisingly Spurs stars past and present – many of them ex-colleagues of Mason – were quick to send messages of support for one of our own.
