Well that wasn’t in the script…

After an excellent start at White Hart Lane, League Two side took a shock two-goal lead lead against Tottenham in the FA Cup fourth round.

The visitors created numerous chances in the opening stages and were unlucky not to score in the first minute. That was followed by a couple more decent opportunities before they eventually took the lead.

Club captain Paul Hayes brilliantly volleyed home from a corner in front of the visiting fans. Hayes then stepped up to double Wycombe’s lead from the spot.
