There’s no doubt Tottenham hugely miss Danny Rose whenever he’s injured. Ben Davies is a capable full-back, but he lacks Rose’s signature attacking intent.

With that in mind, the club will probably search for another left-back in the summer, someone who is a more of a like-for-like replacement for fan-favourite Rose.

Yahoo! Sport are exclusively reporting Spurs are considering a move for Manchester United’s Luke Shaw. The Red Devils spent £27 million on the former Southampton defender in 2014.

Shaw played under Mauricio Pochettino at Southampton and, as so many have since, earned his first England cap as a result of the Argentine’s excellent management of young players.

Yahoo! believe Pochettino is keen to reunite with the 21-year-old, who has seemingly struggled to convince his current manager Jose Mourinho.

The report suggests Shaw has been working on his fitness in recent months in an attempt to force his way back into the Manchester United side. Strong fitness would also be a key requirement if Shaw was to join Tottenham.

United will likely ask for big money if Shaw is to leave, considering his nationality. Still, this is one worth keeping an eye on.
