Tottenham dominated the early stages of their Premier League encounter with Stoke City at White Hart Lane, and they were rewarded with the opening goal inside 15 minutes.
The goal had been coming with Spurs pinning the visitors back in the opening stages. And Mauricio Pochettino’s side quickly ridded any doubts about struggling to break down a well-drilled Stoke side.
The hosts worked the ball into the box, and it eventually fell to the right foot of Harry Kane — the striker made no mistake, drilling the ball low into the far bottom corner.
