Those Spurs fans lucky (and old) enough to have seen Glenn Hoddle in the flesh, will remember the phenomenon of making sure you got to White Hart Lane early enough to watch the great man warm up.

Such was the level of skill that Hoddle had at his disposal, watching him mucking about before a game was worth the admission itself. Judging by the following video, it looks as if Hoddle has lost none of that skill, despite the fact that he turns 60 later this year.

An ambassador for Unibet, Glenn appears in a video for the betting brand in which he attempts what he describes as the ‘Hoddle hat-trick. Starting with three balls in his hands, Hoddle effortlessly punts them into a series of faraway buckets, with the last coming from a nonchalant flick with the outside of his right foot while he’s walking away.

It just goes to prove that the best never lose it…

  1. I remember a sport radio station having a poll and asking its listeners who was better michael carrick or glen hoddle i was laughing so much i nearly put the car through a brick wall.
