Tottenham have revealed a set of aerial photos of the new stadium site, showing the future ground taking shape around the current White Hart Lane.

Spurs plan to move into the new 61,000 capacity, purpose-built stadium at the beginning of the 2018/19 season.

Meanwhile, club officials will meet with Brent Council on Thursday evening to discuss whether Tottenham will be able to use the full 90,000 Wembley capacity for up to 27 ‘home’ games next season.

If all goes well, Spurs will play all of their league, cup and European matches at Wembley next season. Barring any disasters, as we saw in the Champions League and Europa League this season, Wembley should prove good practice for the Tottenham players in terms of playing in front of huge crowds.

The club and supporters will hope the new stadium feels like home considering it is built on the same plot of land as White Hart Lane. The photos below show the new ground will be built over most of the current pitch.
