Monaco defender Djibril Sidibe is interest in joining Tottenham this summer, according to reports in France.

The right-back, who scored against Spurs in the Champions League last season, is being touted as a potential replacement for Kyle Walker, who is expected to join Manchester City.

French outlet le10sport believes Tottenham have “began the first manoeuvres towards the player,” suggesting Sidibe “would be interested in joining” his France teammate Hugo Lloris at Spurs.

Monaco have already let one of their star players, Bernardo Silva, leave this summer, while Thomas Lemar and Kylian Mbappe are expected to follow. The Ligue 1 champions are probably eager to keep hold of Sidibe, but Tottenham are sure to test Monaco’s resolve.

Sidibe was on the scoresheet against England earlier this week. You can watch highlights below.
