Heung-Min Son has today undergone successful surgery on his right forearm and is expected to return for Tottenham’s pre-season trip to America.
Earlier this week, South Korea beat Qatar 3-2 in a World Cup qualifier but saw their star player leave the field in the 34th minute.
Son appeared to be in serious pain after landing awkwardly on his right forearm. It was later confirmed that he suffered a fracture.
The Korean Football Association has revealed Son’s surgery was successful and is he set to return in around a month’s time. You can watch all 21 of Son’s goals from last season in the video below.
