Tottenham manager Mauricio Pochettino is understandably using the club’s pre-season tour of the USA to test a few young players ahead of the new season.
While the familiar trio of Cameron Carter-Vickers, Kyle Walker-Peters and Josh Onomah failed to impress in Spurs’ 3-2 defeat to Roma, another acadamy product stepped up to the plate.
Half-time substitute Anthony Georgiou, a 20-year-old left winger, was one of Tottenham’s stand-out players.

Spurs have a settled team unlike every top six team in the Premier League. One or two two signings would do the job. Maybe SRNIC from Red Star Belgrade. he is an old fashioned centre forward good with both feet and would not cost a lot. He would not be able to play in the Champions League but he is a 20 goal a season player if ever there was one
