Mauricio Pochettino has held his first pre-match press conference of the new Premier League season ahead of Tottenham’s trip to Newcastle United.
The Spurs boss insisted it is important that the club moves on from the Danny Rose situation after the defender apologised for the critical interview he gave to The Sun newspaper.
Pochettino also revealed Victor Wanyama and Heung-Min Son are available for selection on Sunday, but Rose (knee), Georges-Kevin N’Koudou (foot) and Erik Lamela (hip) all miss out.
Tottenham remain the only Premier League side yet to make a summer signing, but Pochettino again defended the club’s transfer policy and said spending late in the window isn’t out of the ordinary for Spurs.
