Tottenham are interested in signing Sergi Roberto from Barcelona according to reports in Spain.
The 25-year-old made 32 La Liga appearances last season in a number of different positions, including right-back.
Spurs are believed to be keen on signing a new right-back following Kyle Walker’s exit.
Mauricio Pochettino is also keen to sign a midfielder. Ross Barkley and Pape Cheikh Diop have been mentioned, and another name can now be added to that list.
Spanish outlet El Mundo Deportivo (via talkSPORT) claims Tottenham have joined Chelsea, Manchester United and Juventus in the race to sign the Barcelona man.
Sergi Roberto scored the crucial final goal in Barcelona’s famous 6-1 win against PSG in the Champions League last season.
So many to choose from, but I’d say #Neymar‘s pass for Sergi Roberto v PSG was his single best moment for Barca pic.twitter.com/pd1njnt2Lg
