Defenders Juan Foyth and Serge Aurier are set for medicals head of joining Tottenham, according to multiple reports.

Times journalist Gary Jacob claims 19-year-old centre-back Foyth will fly into London over the weekend to complete his medical.

French publication L’Equipe is suggesting Aurier’s medical has already been done in Paris ahead of the right-back’s reported £23 million move from PSG.

If that’s true, Spurs are likely to complete the signing of Aurier before Foyth.

However, Tottenham are still apparently waiting on the verdict of Aurier’s appeal against a two-month prison sentence for assaulting a French police officer.

  1. Foyth looks like he has nice composure on the ball and he’s fine passer. Assuming his tackling is strong, as well, looks like a good move esp. in light of the transfer issues in the back four

    • Yeah but there arent any highlights of him actually defending or defending under pressure. He’s great at dinking nice passes and yes seems very composed in his passing but the clips don’t say anything about his defending whether last ditch or defensive reading of the game. But yes he does have a pleasing on the eye style of play and If his composed passing is as good as his defending then…some player.
