Tottenham banished their Wembley hoodoo in impressive fashion with a 3-1 win over Borussia Dortmund in the Champions League.
Spurs took the lead inside four minutes when Heung-Min Son dribbled into the penalty area before firing in a shot at the near post.
Dortmund quickly equalised through Andriy Yarmolenko’s curling effort before Kane made it 2-1 inside minutes with an almost identical goal to Son’s.
Kane then made it three on the hour when he found himself with room in the box and smashed the ball low across the Dortmund goalkeeper.
The result was only slightly marred by Jan Vertonghen’s late red card. Thankfully it was two yellows, so he will only miss the trip to APOEL.

Here’s how Twitter reacted to Vertonghen’s dismissal, the result and the performance.
That is an utterly, utterly awful decision. Pitiful.

#thfc The officials have got another big decision wrong. Auba offside goal a big plus for Spurs but that wasn’t a red card.

Hope that puts the nonsense curse to bed. We’ve played well at Wembley multiple times, now we’ve got that elusive win. Red card ruined it.
