Tottenham are still interested in signing AC Milan playmaker Suso, according to reports in Italy.
Italian outlet Calcio Mercato claims Spurs had a £20.5 million bid for the Spaniard turned down in the summer.
Suso recently signed a new contract with Milan that includes a £44 million release clause.
But Spurs have apparently continued to watch Suso closely this season and could make a move for him in the future.
The 23-year-old failed to make an impact for Liverpool but has been a huge hit in Serie A, scoring seven goals and assisting nine last season.
He would provide very capable cover for Tottenham’s creative players like Christian Eriksen.
Umm – what about Barkley? have we given up on him now? I thought it was a done deal that we were getting him this winter. Mind you – now that Kooman has gone they’ll probably want to hang on to him with a big pay rise!
