Tottenham have sent scouts to watch Inter Milan forward Andrea Pinamonti, according to the Mirror.

The 18-year-old has made five appearances for Inter and is yet to score a goal for the Serie A club.

The Mirror cites a report from Italian outlet Gazzetta dello Sport, which claims Liverpool and newly-promoted Wolves are set to battle it out for Pinamonti’s signature this summer.

They will apparently face competition from Serie A clubs, including Cagliari and Sassuolo.

However, the Mirror believes Spurs, Arsenal and Chelsea have all sent scouts to watch Pinamonti.

That means there could be as many as seven teams scrapping over the teenager in the comings months.

Tottenham are expected to sell Fernando Llorente this summer and send Vincent Janssen on loan to Fenerbahce for another season.

As a result, there is likely to be a slot in the squad for a new attacker – Wilfried Zaha and Jay Rodriguez have also been linked with Spurs in recent weeks.

Due to his lack of appearances for Inter, not a lot is known about Pinamonti in England.

But if four of the ‘big six’ have been keeping an eye on him, there’s a good chance he’s very talented.

  1. Don’t waste our time and money. We need a top striker that’s willing to give Harry a run for his money and be a good back up.

    Dybala?
    Immobile?
    André Grey?

Different ends of the spectrum but We are far to reliant on Harry and every year bar last he wilts as he’s so exhausted and defences suss him out.
