Victor Wanyama was on the scoresheet for Kenya in a crucial 2019 AFCON qualifier on Sunday.
The Harambee Stars captain scored the third goal in a 3-0 victory over Ethiopia, converting a penalty midway through the second half.
It was a brilliantly placed spot-kick that might see Wanyama challenge Harry Kane over penalty duties back at Tottenham – although I think Kane might have something to say about that.
Regardless, it’s great to see Wanyama receive a confidence boost. He hasn’t quite looked himself in 2018, which is understandable given the seriousness of his recent injuries.
