Tottenham are keeping tabs on Middlesbrough starlet Dael Fry, according to reports.
The 21-year-old centre-back has made 11 appearances in the Championship so far this season, helping Middlesbrough climb to second place in the table after 17 matches.
TEAMtalk claims a host of clubs have been closely watching Fry, including Spurs, Liverpool, Chelsea, Bournemouth and Celtic.
It is believed Tony Pulis is a big fan of the Middlesbrough academy product and the club has no intention of selling, although they are aware of interest in Fry.
Tottenham are likely to be in need of a new centre-back next summer with Jan Vertonghen and Toby Alderweireld both out of contract at the end of the current season.
Vertonghen is being tipped to extend his stay with the Londoners, but Alderweireld’s contract situation is more complicated and the Belgian could be sold.
Davinson Sanchez and Juan Foyth have both proven their credentials over recent months, but Mauricio Pochettino will probably want to add depth at centre-back regardless.
Whether Fry is readymade for the Premier League is up for debate.
