Udinese winger Rodrigo de Paul has been offered to Tottenham Hotspur, according to reports in Italy.

Rodrigo, who primarily plays on the left side, has scored six goals and provided three assists in 20 Serie A appearances so far this season.

Earlier this month, reports suggested the 24-year-old could be on the move this summer after changing agents in preparation for a transfer, and Spurs were said to be interested.

Now, Italian outlet Calcio Mercato claims Rodrigo has been offered to Tottenham for €25 million.

However, it is believed Spurs are looking for a player with different characteristics, meaning Rodrigo isn’t of interest to them at this time.

The Argentina international has also been heavily linked with Inter Milan, who could swoop for him in the final few days of the current transfer window.

Son Heung-min’s return from the Asian Cup has lessened the need for an attacker.

Tottenham would be better off looking at central midfielders considering Mousa Dembele’s exit and Victor Wanyama’s ongoing fitness troubles.

That said, the Londoners continue to be linked with Leeds United winger Jack Clarke.
