Tottenham Hotspur are keeping tabs on West Ham United defender Arthur Masuaku, according to the Sun.

Masuaku made 23 Premier League appearances this season, providing one assist from left-back.

The Sun claims Masuaku has impressed Spurs scouts this term and Mauricio Pochettino could make a move for the 25-year-old this summer.

It is believed Danny Rose could be on his way out of the north London club and Masuaku is being lined up as as potential replacement.

Borussia Dortmund are also said to be interested in the Democratic Republic of Congo international.

Masuaku has just one year left on his West Ham contract, which would usually mean the club would effectively be forced to sell him this summer.

However, West Ham have the option to extend his deal by a year, something they are likely to do if interest continues to mount.

The Hammers will not be keen on the idea of doing business with Tottenham, so they will probably trigger the extension if Pochettino really is eager to sign Masuaku.
