Tottenham Hotspur are among the clubs chasing free agent Dani Alves, according to reports in Spain.

Alves left Paris Saint-Germain at the end of last season after his contact expired and seemingly has several options to choose from ahead of the 2019/20 campaign.

Even at 36, the Brazilian is remains highly-rated and would be a coup for any of his suitors on a free transfer, although his wage demands are likely to be high.

Spanish outlet Mundo Deportivo claims Spurs have already made contact with Alves over a possible move to north London.

Tottenham’s fierce rivals Arsenal are also said to be in the running for the three-time La Liga champion’s signature, while Pep Guardiola apparently wants him at Manchester City.

City will be able to pay Alves a superior salary to both Spurs and Arsenal, but Mauricio Pochettino may be able to offer more regular football.

That’s because Kieran Trippier could be on his way out of Tottenham, if reports are to be believed.

Sky Sports believes Bayern Munich are the latest European giant to enter the race to sign Trippier, who has also been linked with Juventus and Napoli.
