Tottenham are hoping to sign Steve Sessegnon from Fulham – which would see him link up with his brother Ryan Sessegnon.

Mauricio Pochettino’s men made an optimistic bid to sign the 19-year-old as part of the deal that saw Ryan move to the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium earlier this summer, but their £3m bid was predictably rejected by the Championship outfit.

But according to The Sun, Tottenham are set to return with an improved offer for the teenager, who has only made eight senior appearances for the Whites, but has started and impressed in their last four Championship outings, including their 2-1 victory a Huddersfield Town recently, a game that was live on Sky Sports.

Sessegnon’s excellent form led to him earning his first call-up to the England Under-21 squad, where he’ll be hoping to make his debut against either Turkey or Kosovo in the next seven days.

The full-back, who can play a number of different positions, is contracted to Fulham until the summer of 2022, but with Spurs in desperate need of right-backs, they’re hoping to sort a deal for the teenager.
