Tottenham travel to Brighton on Saturday aiming to bounce back from their embarrassing 7-2 defeat to Bayern Munich in the Champions League.

Mauricio Pochettino has a number of decisions to make regarding his team selection, with morale, fitness and form issues all potentially affecting his picks for this game.

In his press conference on Friday, the Spurs boss strongly suggested Moussa Sissoko will start at right-back in the absence of Serge Aurier, who will miss out through suspension. On the other side, Ben Davies could come in for Danny Rose, who has looked out-of-sorts defensively of late.

Pochettino should keep faith in Toby Alderweireld and Jan Vertonghen as his centre-back pairing in front of Hugo Lloris, but the duo will nee more protection than they received in midweek.

Harry Winks will probably keep his place at the base of the diamond, but Eric Dier may come in to provide help. The 25-year-old, who will be making his first league start of the campaign, could be positioned just to the right so that Sissoko isn’t constantly exposed.

Tanguy Ndombele will aid the transition from defence to attack, while either Christian Eriksen or Erik Lamela will join Heung-min Son and Harry Kane in advanced areas when necessary. We think it will be Eriksen, but it could easily be Lamela.
