Tottenham are interesting in signing West Bromwich Albion right-back Nathan Ferguson in a £10m deal, according to The Sun.

Mauricio Pochettino has endured a number of problems in that position ever since England’s Kieran Tripper joined Atletico Madrid this season – leaving him with just one senior right-back.

Kyle Walker-Peters and Serge Aurier have shared the workload this season, but the former suffered a hamstring injury against Newcastle United in August and hasn’t featured in the league since, whilst Aurier is struggling for form and was sent off in Spurs’ Premier League victory over Southampton last month before producing a horror show against Bayern Munich.

So Pochettino has turned his attentions to the 19-year-old, who can also play on the left and has started 11 of the Baggies 12 Championship games this season. And according to The Sun, Spurs are one of a host of Premier League clubs interested in his signature and are keen to make the teenager their number one defensive target.
