Danny Rose has ended his 13-stay in London by signing for Newcastle United on loan from Tottenham.
The defender joined Spurs as a teenager and became a regular under Mauricio Pochettino, but he eventually fell out of favour and could not break back into the team with Jose Mourinho at the helm.
His move to Newcastle sees him return to the north east where he once spent a season on loan with Sunderland.
And speaking to Sky Sports News, Rose jokingly admitted that the better chip shops in the north of England made leaving London an easier decision. Watch below.
