Barcelona have enquired about signing Tottenham pair Ryan Sessegnon and Tanguy Ndombele, according to the Evening Standard.

The duo, who were signed by Mauricio Pochettino for more than £80million from Fulham and Lyon last summer, have endured difficult first campaigns at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium – with neither featuring regularly since making their moves to north London.

The report from the Standard says that the Spanish giants would only interested in players plus cash deal, with the likes of Samuel Umtiti Nelson Semedo, Ivan Rakitic and Philippe Coutinho all set to depart the Nou Camp summer – four players who would undoubtedly strengthen Jose Mourinho’s squad.

However, the Portuguese has reportedly blocked Barcelona’s approach for Sessegnon, whilst Spurs won’t consider selling Ndombele despite his recent problems with Mourinho.

The Frenchman’s late appearance against Sheffield United is his only minutes since the Premier League restarted last month, whilst Sessegnon hasn’t featured yet and was left out of the’ last two matchday squads, despite the Mourinho confirming that he isn’t injured.

The players that Barcelona would be willing to negotiate with haven’t been stated, but both Semedo and Umtiti could solve some of Tottenham’s defensive problems, with Jan Vertonghen, Danny Rose and right-back Serge Aurier all set to leave the club this summer.

  1. Ben Davies 72% pass back to defenders instead of forward
Ben Davies only one shot he only 5% pass to forward
He is not attacking in his mind
    WHY KEEP HIM ???

    • You are so right. I literally just posted on another site about Davies. He doesn’t pass forward and is horrible at anticipating the next pass. This guy is A MLS back up at best.
