Ryan Sessegnon became the first goalscorer of Tottenham’s pre-season campaign with the opener against Ipswich Town on Saturday.
Playing as a left wing-back, the former Fulham man latched onto a pass from Dele Alli. His touch was a little heavy but it allowed him to strike with his weaker right foot.
The shot wrong-footed the Ipswich goalkeeper and nestled in the corner.

And it wasn’t long until it was 2-0.
Pierre-Emile Hojbjerg and Dele Alli capitalised on a mistake in the Ipswich backline to set up Son Heung-min for the second.

Great to see Sess getting game time and showing us why he should be a permanent fixture in the team.
Nice to see Ryan playing and scoreing
With his right foot it will be interesting to see who plays well in the next few games
Honestly, given a choice between jose staying on as our manager and Ryan playing week in week out I’d happily go for the latter.
