Sergio Regulion is at Tottenham’s training ground undergoing his medical ahead of his proposed move from Real Madrid, according to the Evening Standard.

The 23-year-old left-back had been heavily linked with a move to Manchester United, but Spurs have swooped in from under their noses and are now seemingly one step away from completing a deal to make the former Sevilla loanee their fourth signing of the summer.

We relayed a story from the trusty Fabrizio Romano earlier, that an agreement was in place for the Madrid defender to make the switch to the Premier League.

And now, with the transfer progressing at a rapid pace, Dan Kilpatrick admitted that he’d heard that the Spanish left-back was at Spurs’ Hotspur Way training ground in Enfield this afternoon undergoing his medical – with the deal expected to be officially announced on Thursday.

You can also see below, Romano replying his famous ‘here we go’ to a tweet from Sky Sport Matteo Moretto.

  1. My concern now is for Dennis circiun and Ryan Sessingon and Jose give Juan another chance ok he made a bad mistake in Carrie road but please give him another chance. Franks. Coys

  2. Great addition. Voted best left back in La Liga last season whilst at Seville and certainly will be the best left back we’ve had for many a year.
Helps that he can actually defend and also can cross the ball without just whacking it against the first man.

  3. I believe, bringing in Sergio Regulion will improve both Ryan Sessingon and young Curcin. Both are very talented and important to the long term future.
