Jose Mourinho has made three changes to the Tottenham side that beat Lokomotiv Plovdiv in the Europa League on Thursday – with Tanguy Ndombele making his first start since the 1-1 draw with Burnley back in early March.

The other two changes see Lucas Moura and Harry Winks replace Moussa Sissoko and Steven Bergwijn.

Serge Aurier returns to the squad after missing out midweek with a knock, but Dele Alli is left out for a second consecutive game.

It’s the same back-four from Thursday, meaning Davinson Sanchez perhaps surprisingly keeps his place alongside Eric Dier, whilst Winks and Pierre-Emile Hojbjerg, who returns to his old club, are partnered in central-midfield like against Everton last Sunday.

Ndombele’s cameo against Plovdiv has earned him a place in the starting XI, joining the familiar trio in attack of Moura, Heung Min Son and Harry Kane.

New signings Sergio Regulion and Gareth Bale weren’t registered in time – although the latter isn’t expected to feature until the middle of October after suffering an injury whilst playing for Wales earlier this month.
