Heung Min Son, Harry Kane and Jose Mourinho have been nominated for the Premier League Player of the Month and Manager of the Month awards for October.

Spurs managed seven points from their three league matches in October, recording away wins against both Manchester United and Burnley – sandwiched between a disappointing 3-3 draw against West Ham.

Mourinho, whose hasn’t won the accolade since March 2007, is up against Nuno Espirito Santo, David Moyes, Dean Smith and Southampton boss Ralph Hasenhuttl.

Meanwhile, Kane, who was also nominated in September, continued his excellent start to the season in October with three fine more performances.

The England captain notched braces in the Man United and West Ham games, whilst adding assists in both, before setting up Son’s late winner against Burnley.

As for the South Korean, he scored four times in three games, including that crucial goal at Turf Moor, whilst also chipping in with his two assists – both of which were for his strike-partner Kane.

Che Adams, Jack Grealish, Connor Coady, Pablo Fornals, Thiago Silva and former Tottenham defender Kyle Walker are also up for the award.
