Everton are ready to make a January move for Napoli star Arkadiusz Milik, but Tottenham are still interested in the striker, according to the Sun.

Milik is out of contract at the end of the season and was linked with a move to Spurs throughout the summer (via the Express).

The Londoners ended up signing Carlos Vinicius on loan from Benfica with an option to buy, finally providing Harry Kane with capable back-up.

But the Sun claims Tottenham are still keen on Milik, who is yet to feature for Napoli this season and could move on in the coming weeks.

Spurs and Inter Milan are said to be battling Everton for the Poland international’s signature, but it is the Toffees who are most prepared to make a move.

The Sun claims Carlo Ancelotti will sanction a £10 million bid for Milik in January, a relatively low offer but one Everton are hopeful will be sufficient.

Tottenham could probably also afford Milik if he is as cheap as £10 million, but they are surely unlikely to pounce having signed Vinicius in the summer.

If Vinicius doesn’t work out and Milik is available on a free transfer next summer, perhaps then Spurs will revive their interest.
