Tottenham can take a giant step towards qualification for the knockout stages for the Europa League when they take on Ludogorets of Bulgaria on Thursday.

With both Chelsea in and Arsenal in the coming weeks, Jose Mourinho is expected to make wholesale changes, although he won’t be able to call upon the injured Toby Alderweireld and Erik Lamela.

We think that Joe Hart will replace Hugo Lloris in goal and start behind a back-four of Serge Aurier, who’ll be the only survivor from the win over Manchester City, unless Mourinho feels that Matt Doherty is match fit, Davinson Sanchez, Ben Davies and then Japhet Tanganga, making just his second start of the campaign.

Moving forward, Harry Winks should be involved once again following his recent minor injury, whilst Giovani Lo Celso, fresh from his goal on Sunday, will also start, behind a front four of Dele Alli, Gareth Bale and Lucas Moura, who’ll support Carlos Vinicius in attack.

Predicted XI: Hart, Aurier, Sanchez, Davies, Tanganga, Winks, Lo Celso, Lucas, Alli, Bale, Vinicius.
