Valencia are interested in signing Tottenham midfielder Harry Winks on loan for the second-half of the season, according to AS.

Winks has started each of Spurs’ previous three matches in all competitions against Stoke, Wolves and Leeds United, although his late appearance in the recent defeat to Leicester was his first outing in the Premier League for more than two months.

With both Pierre-Emile Hojbjerg and Moussa Sissoko in impressive form, the England man, who’ll still have aspirations to make Gareth Southgate’s squad for next summer’s European Championships, has struggled for opportunities having slipped down the pecking order.

The majority of Winks’ appearances this season have come in the Europa League, until his recent involvement back in the starting line-up – with Eurosport claiming that the 24-year-old, whose only ever played for Tottenham at club level, would be open to a move to La Liga.

Despite his dip in form this term, Winks has still turned out 15 times in all competitions for Spurs this season and should be involved against Brentford in the Carabao Cup on Tuesday.

    • Agree. I’d loan him to them tomorrow, bring back Eriksen on loan. Eriksen with one leg along side his international mate would be 100% upgrade on Harry Sidewinks.

    • You make it seems like the England squad is some power House team with players looking through keyhole to get a glimpse.

All you need is a run of good games and you in.
