Harry Kane has told friends he wants to leave Tottenham for another club this summer, according to Football Insider.

The striker’s future has been the source of much speculation in recent weeks, and the rumours will only increase if Spurs fail to qualify for the Champions League.

Last week, we relayed a story from the Sun that claimed Tottenham will demand £175 million for Kane this summer and will only sell him to a foreign club, seemingly all but ruling out an exit for their talisman.

But there is a chance that will change if the 28-year-old requests a transfer.

And Football Insider believes Kane has told close friends he is eager to move on before the start of next season.

It is believed the England captain has kept quiet on his future in public but has privately made it clear to those around him that he is eager to depart Spurs.

Of course, it’s impossible to know whether there is any truth to this one. ‘Close friends’ is a common term in transfer rumour parlance, and it’s not always a reliable source.

We’re unlikely to know Kane’s true intentions until after Euro 2020 at least.

  1. Contrary to the Carricks,Modrics,Campbells,Berbatovs and Bales of this world, would go with my blessing.Has been badly let down by the Club for who he has given 110%.Still believe he might give it another go with real and true guarantees from Levy, but he, unlike the lying, cheating Mourinho can’t and won’t make false promises.Levy will probably think it a good dealing selling a player signed for nothing for a lot of money.
Time for season ticket holders to show true “balls” by not renewing their tickets- that is the only way Levy will learn an d understand.
