Harry Winks leaving Tottenham for Everton this summer is a possibility, according to Fabrizio Romano.

Winks has started both pre-season matches under Nuno Espirito Santo, but fell out of favour under Jose Mourinho and started just nine Premier League games all of last season.

The midfielder has made more than 150 appearances since breaking into the first-team, but his place looks under threat, especially with youngster Oliver Skipp now expected to be part of the squad for next season following excellent loan spell with Norwich.

Football Insider previously reported that sporting director Fabio Paratici was willing to listen to offers and would sell Winks for less than £30m.

Southampton have also been tracking the 25-year-old’s progress, but Romano revealed on his Twitch account that a move to Goodison Park could happen.

“It is a possibility for Everton, we will see in the next few days,” said the Italian journalist.

Given that Winks’ chances are going to be even more reduced by Skipp’s return, signing for Everton would represent a good move for the midfielder, whilst raising funds for Tottenham.
