Matt Doherty, Serge Aurier, Harry Winks and Tanguy Ndombele are all expected to stay at Tottenham past tonight’s 11pm transfer deadline.

The Sun confirmed that despite Winks playing just one minute in the Premier League so far this season, he’s impressed Nuno Espirito Santo and therefore won’t leave despite slipping behind Oliver Skipp in the pecking order and also losing his place in the England squad.

Meanwhile, although Emerson Royal is set to become Santo’s fourth summer signing, Matt Doherty and Serge Aurier will remain in north London – meaning the Spurs boss will have four right-backs at his disposal until at least January – with Japhet Tanganga his preferred choice currently.

Lastly, record-signing Tanguy Ndombele has been unable to secure a move away from the club despite failing to play a single minute under Santo in any competition or even in pre-season.

Cameron Carter-Vickers, Harvey White and Jack Clarke could all be loaned out, however.

  1. We need to retrain Lo Celso and NDombele as attacking midfielders to have any chance of doing anything this season.

Keep Dele in the central 10 role, keep Son at number 11, keep Kane as the 9, mould Lo Celso and NDombele in the 7 position as a fluid 10 like Eriksen used to be for us.

I honestly can’t watch another season of Bergwijn and Lucas trying to find ways through low block defences that there is no space to run into, when we have 2 of the most technically gifted and semi creative midfielders in the league either not playing or playing too fa
I’m probably the only person who is glad NDombele and Aurier are still with us.

  2. Lo Celso, NDombele, Lucas and Bergwijn have all disappoined me, too many wasted passes and no end product to their “mazy” runs, all expecting to earn free kicks They need to learn run/lay off/run to use positional play to split defences,

  3. Adam Traore should take place of Bergwijin place but Levy too tight with money not to buy Traore
I can’t stand to watch Bergwijin and lucas playing bec of poor passes
Particia a new Director of Football is hopeless!!!
