Tottenham want to sign Fenerbahce defender Kim Min-Jae in January, according to reports in Turkey.

Kim, a centre-back, is the international teammate of Spurs talisman Son Heung-min and is said to be courting interest ahead of a possible winter move.

Turkish outlet Fanatik claims Tottenham, Juventus and Porto are all ‘seriously interested’ in signing the 25-year-old in January.

The report suggests Fenerbahce will demand €20 million if they are to sell Kim midway through the season.

Spurs are likely to target a centre-back in January with summer signing Cristian Romero out until February with a hamstring problem.

Ben Davies and Eric Dier have impressed since Antonio Conte arrived at the club, but Davinson Sanchez – despite his goal against Norwich City – is struggling for form.

Japhet Tanganga and Joe Rodon are potential future stars but Kim would bring a bit more experience to Tottenham’s back three.

Whether it’s Kim or another player, Spurs would be wise to bring in a centre-back in January if their push for a top-four finish is to have legs.
