Giovani Lo Celso has been left out of the Tottenham squad for their trip to Chelsea today.

The Argentina international has featured in the last five games in all competitions since his return from injury, but he isn’t even on the bench for the game at Stamford Bridge, with youngsters Harvey White and Dane Scarlett selected ahead of him.

Lo Celso even played the final 17 minutes at Leicester on Wednesday, but Antonio Conte has decided against putting him on the bench.

When the line-up was confirmed, there was more focus on the fact that Conte had started with six defenders, but Lo Celso’s exclusion was another major talking point, especially with both Dele Alli and Tanguy Ndombele left out.

But Lo Celso has since taken to Instagram to confirm that he isn’t injured, saying that he’s “100% in a good physical condition”. Below, you can see everything that the 25-year-old said on his story.
