Dejan Kulusevski has labelled Harry Kane “unbelievable” and thinks he can strike up a fruitful partnership with his new teammate for Tottenham.

Kane scored twice against Brighton in the FA Cup fourth round on Saturday and Kulusevski came on to make his debut midway through the second half.

The Sweden international had a promising cameo, setting up chances for Kane and Bewrgwijn that would have been converted on another night.

In quotes published by the London Evening Standard, Kulusevski insisted he can create plenty of chances for Kane and vice verse – and it’s thanks to advice from his former manager at Juventus, Andrea Pirlo.

“Pirlo is a fantastic coach and a fantastic guy,” Kulusevski said. “I spoke with him nearly every day and he always spoke to me a lot about how I should shape my body and how I can look for passes without showing the opposition where I am going to play the ball.

“And that is exactly what I hope will help me to help Harry even more in the future.

“[Kane] is unbelievable. Yes, up there. What impressed me was his technique, the way he stopped the ball and the way he changed the whole pitch with his passes from both feet.

“It is amazing really. And I know that when he has the ball I have to run because he will find me.”

Kane’s goals stole the headlines on Saturday but Kulusevski is right – the England captain’s passing was superb, which will undoubtedly help Spurs’ new signing settle.

If the 21-year-old can make the right runs, he is bound to get on the end of those Kane passes and will surely get some goals.

Of course that relies on Kulusevski’s finishing ability, so hopefully he takes some shooting tips from Kane in training.
