Bryan Gil continued his bright start to his loan spell with Valencia by claiming an assist against Barcelona on Sunday afternoon.
The 21-year-old was starting his fourth game since arriving on deadline day and while his side were beaten 4-1 by Xavi’s men, Gil’s assist for Carlos Soler briefly gave them hope.
Having received the ball out on the left, Gil took one touch before delivering a superb cross for his teammate to head past Marc-Andre ter Stegen.
