Tottenham are ready to listen to offers this summer for Emerson Royal, according to The Sun.

The Brazilian has started 17 Premier League games since he arrived from Barcelona on deadline day last August, but his performances have come under intense scrutiny of late.

Royal had been Antonio Conte’s number one right wing-back for the majority of his first few months as Tottenham boss, although the 23-year-old has lost his place in recent weeks.

He did start the victory at Manchester City last month and defeat at Burnley four days later, but Matt Doherty has started the last three games and has chipped in with three assists, which is more than Royal has managed in his 20 previous top-flight appearances this term.

Royal penned a five-year contract when he joined from Barcelona, but The Sun believe that Tottenham are already looking to cash-in on the Brazil international, who cost them £25m.

As with all potential departures, Daniel Levy is only likely to sell if the price is right, but this is one we believe would benefit all parties.
