When transfer talk is dominated by a player who doesn’t even have his own Wikipedia page, you can be certain that it’s going to be a slow week. Spurs may be looking for a new manager but the only real player link to emerge so far today concerns a move for Chateauroux striker Erwin Koffi.

Chateroux have just been relegated from the second tier of French football but 19 year old Koffi was one of the few highlights of the campaign. The teenager scored four times in nine appearances for the club and according to today’s reports, that has been enough to see Spurs come calling with the offer of a four year deal.

If Koffi does come to the Lane then it’s likely he will spend his first season with the development squad and if any of this is true, it begs the question as to what will happen to Souleymane Coulibaly – the 19 year old Ivorian who many hoped would be on the fringes of the first team by now.

  1. Still time for Coulibaly. Like him, Harry Kane was touted as the next great things when he scored for fun in the lower leagues, then it went a bit quiet for him as it took him a while to come through but he is now emerging and Coulibaly can still do so too.

  2. Pt less why are we even looking at new signings when we have NO MANAGER???? yeah let’s invest in players our new manager may not potentially want to work with.I know our club motto is “To dare is to do” but i think we should be more sensible in this instance. COYS!
