Tottenham target Suso is close to signing a contract extension with AC Milan, according to reports in Italy.
The former Liverpool playmaker was repeatedly linked with a move to Spurs during the summer transfer window, but rumours of a potential move for the player went quiet in August.
Suso has talked up his preference to stay with Milan, so Tottenham turned their attentions to Ross Barkley and Andre Gomes last month – although neither player joined in the end.
Italian outlet Calciomercato reports the 23-year-old is closing in on a new deal with the Serie A giants.
It remains to be seen whether Spurs will reignite their interest in the player at a later date.
It’s all well and good talking about Suso staying where he is. What is more important is LEVY stop playing silly buggers and pay Toby Alderweireld the correct wages I’m sick and tired of him showing off every transfer window. It’s about time he looked after his own players and kept them happy!
And, whilst we are on about being happy the manner in which Pochetino has shown towards Janssen
It totally disgusting. He most certainly has shown him no respect. I like to know the real reason for this but it really stinks of it being personal.! If that is so then Pochetino has fallen down in my opinion of him.!
How can you possibly have a go at Pochettino as you don’t know any of the facts. I personally like Jansen as an individual and he always gave 100 pc but so far,it has not worked out for Spurs or Jansen. Mr Pochettino has to make football decisions that are best for them team and for you to suggest it has been handled badly without knowing any facts is a bit naive. Stir,you are entitled to your opinion.
