Juventus are considering a move for Tottenham Hotspur defender Kieran Trippier, according to Sky Sports in Italy.

Trippier has been linked with a move to Napoli, although recent reports suggested that deal has fallen through.

After Spurs’ Champions League final defeat to Liverpool, Trippier cast doubt over his future at the club while admitting he is happy where he is.

But the right-back may be tempted by the chance to join a European giant.

Sky Sports in Italy claims Juventus have identified Trippier as a potential replacement for Joao Cancelo.

The 28-year-old would prefer to stay in England but has not ruled out the possibility of moving to Italy this summer.

Juventus’ interest certainly comes as a surprise given the standard of Trippier’s performances this season.

Since shining for England at the World Cup last summer, the former Burnley man has struggled for club and country, losing his place in the England squad for the Nations League.

With that in mind, Trippier may end up moving in order to win his place back for the Three Lions, although there will be questions marks over whether he will be a guaranteed starter for Juventus.
